The brand new park, located on the corner of Halcyon Loop and Repose Street is now open!
Designed to bring the community together, the park will feature plenty of pathways and open turfed areas, as well as a shaded feature playground and nature play area.
There will also be a shaded seating area and barbecue facilities.
Sutherlands Park is the City of Gosnells largest sporting complex, located just minutes from Ambia, on the corner of Holmes Street and Southern River Road.
Sutherlands Park features six sporting ovals, catering to AFL, soccer, cricket, hockey, tee ball and archery, providing a place close to home for sporting activities and events.
There’s also two playgrounds, shaded seating areas, barbecue facilities.
Lane Gardens Park is located just 3 mins from Ambia, with playground equipment catering to a range of ages.
The park is separated into two playground areas; one for toddlers which includes a rope net and small slide and one for the more adventurous.
There’s plenty of space to run around with large turfed areas, or to enjoy an afternoon picnic with shaded picnic tables and barbecue facilities.
For a relaxing weekend stroll, you can’t go past Castlewood Parkway Reserve, just 2km from Ambia.
With pathways wrapping around the picturesque lake, it provides the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. Soak up the view in the gazebo tower, centrally located overlooking the lake.
It’s also kid-friendly too, with a small playground with rope climbing equipment and a swing set.
